In the United States alone, over 53 million individuals take on the role of family caregivers, contributing an astonishing $470 billion in unpaid labor annually. However, behind these staggering statistics lie stories of sacrifice, compromised health, and emotional strain. Studies show that long term caregiving exacts a toll, leading to diminished self-care, heightened depression, and psychological distress. To illuminate these challenges, we’ve conducted a survey to uncover insights into their experiences, shedding light on this often-overlooked aspect of society.

Who wouldn’t want to live at home as long as possible, independently, and autonomously? Living at home in old age with the right support is possible.  Aging at home is a desire shared by many seniors. Whether as a couple or living alone, seniors want to stay in their familiar surroundings, with the necessary support when needed. Entry into a retirement or nursing home is delayed for as long as possible. For most seniors going to a nursing home is only considered when absolutely necessary.
